Thermocouple Types

There are 8 different Types of Thermocouples

S grade is characterized by strong oxidation resistance, the S graduation number has the highest accuracy level.
R grade type is 15% larger in removal of electromotive force then the S-grade.
B grade types thermal electromotive force is extremely small at room temp, i can be used in oxidizing or neutral atmospheres.
N grade are strong in high-temp oxidation resistance with stability in long and short term thermal cycle reproducibility.
K grade has strong oxidation resistance and a continuous use in oxidizing and inert atmospheres, widely used of all the thermocouples.
E grade it has the largest thermal electromotive force with the highest sensitivity
J grade is mostly in the oil and chemical industry, it can be used in both oxidizing atmospheres it is resistant to H2 & CO gas corrosion.
T grade has the highest accuracy level among the low-cost metal thermocouples
