Aluminum (CCA) and H05Z-K / H07Z-K

• Conductor Type: The harmonized standard primarily specifies Class 5 flexible copper (CU). However, suppliers may offer “Copper Clad Aluminum” (CCA) variants, particularly for H05Z-K, to reduce costs.
• Performance Notice: Aluminum or CCA conductors generally have lower current carrying capacity and higher electrical resistance compared to copper.
• Applications: These cables are used for internal wiring in switch gears and panels.
